Karo & Co Interiors is a London based luxury interior design studio, specialising in creating contemporary spaces for existing homes, new builds, extensions or renovations.
With sustainability in mind, our creative team provide interior design expertise at every stage of process, starting from a revision of the architectural plans, through the build, to the final stage of fit-out and styling.
We take a collaborative approach to design, working together with architects and contractors to ensure that all ideas work perfectly together in your space.
At Karo and Co Interiors we care about the way we do business. Our goal is to source luxury sustainable and eco-friendly products, and keep our design process 100% environmentally friendly.
Our aim is to work only with like-minded responsible suppliers who share our vision of using more sustainable eco-friendly materials and production methods to help us to achieve our goal. This includes choosing furniture crafted from FSC wood, items made from 100% natural or recycled materials, and buying from brands who respect Fair Trade principles. We are continually researching and updating our supplier list to find new companies, exciting designers, local artists and manufacturers that are committed to creating and sourcing items made from natural and renewable products wherever possible. They will also have an understanding of the impact of their production processes and packaging on our environment, and are committed to finding ways of reducing our carbon footprint to zero.
By setting ourselves this goal we are able to make better business decisions with regards to our products and empower our clients with the ability to make greener choices when purchasing unique homeware. We believe that everyone can have a beautifully designed home that is kind to our environment.
Our Definition of an ‘Eco-Friendly’ Product
An Eco-Friendly product is made of of recycled, reclaimed, or naturally, renewable materials, bio-degradable or can be recycled, reused or re-purposed. Ethically made products are sourced from a local supplier or artist. Additionally packed in materials (packaging) that is biodegradable or recycled or both; and transposed with the minimum or zero impact on the environment.
