At Karo & Co Interiors we’re passionate about designing beautiful furniture that connects practicality with style. With our bespoke wardrobes, you can be sure you’re getting the highest quality product and design expertise. Our wardrobes give us total design flexibility, unlike bespoke furniture offered on the high street, we are not limited by the mass production process.
Our passion is to create beautiful furniture lasting many years, whether that be symmetry you're after, a certain design you have in mind, or something that gives the space a real presence. As we only work with top quality materials, we also offer a 10-year warranty on all our bespoke furniture.
1. What Is Our Bespoke Wardrobe Process?
We aim to make our design and fitting process as simple as possible. Below outlines the answers to some commonly asked questions around our service.
To obtain an initial free online estimate, you can simply send a brief description of what you are looking for and the approximate dimensions of the space, width x height x depth. A photo of space or an architectural plan is also very useful (but not essential), especially with challenging spaces. Once we hear from you, we will be able to advise you on the best solutions for your space. At this point, we will be able to provide you with an estimated price to plan your budget and answer any initial questions you have.

If you prefer a more accurate estimate, you can book a design consultation with one of our designers at your home. During the consultation, we can discuss all options for the exterior and interior of your wardrobes and give you ideas on how to maximise the available space with the best storage solutions. We will take initial measurements of the space and also show you all the beautiful finish samples and answer any questions you have. The design consultation with one of our experienced designers will take up to 2 hours and has a cost of £75 inc.VAT which will be taken off the final cost should you choose to go ahead.
After the design consultation, we will work on the initial design draft and discuss with you the details and finishes. We will be happy to order samples for you free of charge. At this point we will create a 2D visualisation so you will get a clear idea of how the finished furniture will look.
When the design of your ideal furniture is established we will send to you the final costs for the fitted furniture. Once you are happy with the design we will then require a deposit, and our technical surveyor will then visit your home to take exact measurements of the space.
Production & Fitting
After our surveyor has visited your home, technical drawings will be produced by our CAD technician and fully accessible to you with all dimensions. Before the production process starts we will confirm the designs with you and give you an estimated fitting date.
We will keep you updated on the production process and two weeks before the delivery date we will contact you and advise on preparation before the fitting. On the agreed day(s), our professional fitting team will install your new wardrobes to the highest possible standard. The final inspection and sign off will then be done on completion, and the warranty issued.

2.What Types Of Wardrobes Are Available?
There are many different types and styles of built-in or bespoke wardrobes to choose from, including fitted wardrobes with sliding or hinged doors, walk-in wardrobe designs with or without doors, glass partitions or mirrors and many different shelving systems. In addition, we also design loft wardrobes and floor to ceiling wardrobes.
Depending on the space available and your personal preferences, one type will be more suitable than another, and we will be able to make recommendations to you on your fitted wardrobe design. We usually advise that for rooms with limited floor space, the best type of doors are sliding and for traditional interiors, to use classic shaker hinged doors that suit the style of the home. The great thing about going bespoke with our professional designers is that you can rely on our experience and we will not only help you to design the perfect interior but choose the best finishes and details to enhance your home decor.
3. What Are The Lead Times?
Our furniture is designed and produced in the UK, therefore the manufacturing process only takes between 4-5 weeks. The consultation phase and design process can take around two weeks depending on your availability and the complexity of the project. In addition to this, any handmade accessories, glass, handles or finishes on special order may take a little longer.
4. What Areas Do We Service?
We are happy to work with any projects within or near the M25 in London.
5. What Are The Likely Costs?
Because each wardrobe is designed bespoke, with a large array of finishes and internal layouts, we don’t have a standard pricing model for built-in wardrobe costs. We believe that bespoke wardrobes are a great way to personalise your living space and should last you for many years, also adding value to your home. Therefore you should never compromise on quality, choosing a professional service over a DIY approach will save you money in the long-run with mistakes eliminated and the final product being finished to the highest standard. However, we realise that everyone likes to get an approximate idea on costs, and therefore below we have set out some indicative prices for your fitted wardrobe.
Sliding Doors Wardrobe
Bespoke and contemporary design, with mirrors and glass introduced. A three-segmented wardrobe, 2.1m wide will start from £3,800 and the price will depend on the height of the wardrobe as well as interior/exterior finishes, and construction material. Additional accessories and an integrated light system can also influence the price.
Three Doors Fitted Wardrobe
Simple hinged, 1.8m wide such as the photo on the right will start from £2,600 and will be available in a variety of finishes. Optional shaker doors with glass or a mirror finish and additional features such as decorative columns or handmade door handles will affect the final cost.
